I'm Lala, and in this photo, you see my sister (left) and me (right) standing in front of my parents' Chinese restaurant in Italy. But now I live in Germany... Yup, that's me. You probably wonder how I ended up in this situation... the story is much too long to tell here. Perhaps I'll send you an abridged version in one of my letters...

In any case, my love for food was instilled in me early on, and judging by my appearance in the photo, my creative streak was also encouraged from a young age – I mean, is that a Bob Ross perm?

During the first CoVid lockdown in 2020, I bought a watercolor set, two watercolor pads, and three watercolor brushes with the goal of sending handmade cards to my friends, whom I (as I thought that day) would probably never, ever see again. Fortunately, CoVid eventually passed, and my watercolor cards, which I now send for birthdays, Christmas, and other special occasions, have remained.

I find so much joy in paper, paint, and beautiful mail that I absolutely want to share it with you. And who doesn't love good food?!
